Giustina M. Easton
Giustina (G) intersects somatic exploration with anatomical precision to cultivate body literacy and support conscious embodiment. She believes that the collective healing and liberation of humanity is deeply tied to personal liberation from the tethers of the mind and conditioned disembodiment from our bodies. In recognizing how cultural and systemic constructs skew our relationship to our bodies, G utilizes the tools of practice to develop personal attunement, facilitate self regulation, and uplift inner healing.
While studying Bodywork in Costa Rica, G began her journey in exploring the intersection of trauma and neuroanatomy and became deeply fascinated by this intrinsic connection of the mind and body. This drove her to her role as an educator where she is continuously inspired to teach about how our lived experience is stored within our tissues, and in which ways we can utilize the tools of practice to cultivate a sense of home within the body. She’s taught Structural Anatomy, Kinesiology and Western Bodywork Techniques for Massage Therapy Schools and has developed Anatomy programs for both 200hr and 300hr Yoga Teacher Trainings. She resides in her longtime home of Detroit, Michigan where she is the Founder of body therapy studio Framework, and teaches public classes throughout the city and beyond.
